epicPLY raw panel – ultra-light, super-strong, and sustainable

If you are looking for an especially light, stable, and sustainable plywood panel for camper conversions, interior fitting, or other structural applications, the epicPLY raw panel is the perfect choice. With a weight saving of up to 50% compared to conventional plywood panels, it offers maximum flexibility with minimal weight – ideal for use in motorhomes, vans, tiny houses, trade fair construction, or shop fitting.

Light and strong for structural purposes

The epicPLY raw panel was developed specifically for structural applications – for example, for substructures, ceiling paneling, cabinet components, or lightweight furniture construction. It is not suitable for decorative purposes, as the surface is technically raw and may show color variations as well as unevenness.

Sustainably sourced from Indonesia – with responsibility for people and nature

The epicPLY raw panel is made of the lightweight, fast-growing wood of the Albasia Falcata (also known as Sengon). This tree comes from sustainably managed plantations in Indonesia and is one of the most climate-friendly types of timber: it grows extremely quickly – up to 7 meters in just 3 years – while storing large amounts of CO₂.

In cooperation with the non-profit organization Fairventures Worldwide, we support the reforestation of tropical mixed forests on degraded rainforest areas. For every tree felled, six new ones are planted – this way, we promote a resource-saving and socially fair timber industry together.

The epicPLY raw panel is available in various thicknesses – including the popular 6 mm version, which is excellent for covering applications in interior areas, e.g., if the panel is to be felted afterward – ideal for projects where every gram counts.

*Important note on panel format:

Our epicPLY panels have a standard size of 248 x 120 cm. However, to ensure you can use the full, undamaged surface, we deliver the panels in a slightly larger format of 250 x 122 cm. During transport, slight damage or impressions may occur on the outer edges, for example, from securing with straps. These minor blemishes do not affect the quality or function of the panel and therefore do not constitute a reason for complaint. If such minimal damage occurs, you can simply cut the panel to the specified size and thus use the full, undamaged surface for your project. And if everything arrives perfectly, you have simply been given a little extra panel as a gift from us!
