The edge of our panels can remain exposed. However, to protect it from sunlight, mechanical stress, and moisture, it should be sealed with oil . If you don't like the exposed edge, suitable edge banding is available in the accessories category.
Multiplex panels with wood veneer can also be used as tabletops. However, it is recommended to use an oil with a hardener to make the surface more durable.
epicPLY multiplex panels can also be used as worktops. However, the surface should be appropriately protected. Furthermore, the panel should be protected from excessive heat and stress. Hot pots and pans, for example, should not be placed directly on the worktop with real wood veneer.
Yes, the panels definitely need to be treated, as they are delivered raw. An oil with a hardener is recommended to protect the surface not only from moisture and sunlight, but also from mechanical stress.
