The decisive difference: No MDF!

Many conventional acoustic panels rely on MDF as a backing material. This can be problematic, especially in environments like campers or vans. MDF can absorb moisture, warp, or swell. Over time, this can also cause the bond between the backing material and the veneer to fail.

The epicPLY Ultralight acoustic panel completely dispenses with MDF. Instead, it uses a high-quality PET acoustic felt made from recycled material that remains dimensionally stable, is more resistant to moisture, and performs reliably in the long term. This makes the panel particularly suitable for mobile applications and changing climate conditions.
